I wonder what people really think about some of the brands out there today? It would be great if there was a way to collect all of this data and display it visually somehow. Brand Tags have done just that, and they have done it in a very simple and clever way.

WordPress is a great blogging platform and CMS, so it’s no surprise that more and more people are using it everyday. One of the main reasons WordPress is so popular is due to its huge following and support from developers. They’re the ones creating all of the great WordPress plugins that we take for granted. Of course, not all plugins were created equal, so in this post I’m going to go through some of the must have WordPress plugins that I have found over the years. With over 500 million active users, Facebook is a giant in the Internet sphere. It’s not surprising to see more and more websites and blogs placing Facebook like buttons on their sites to get more visitors and exposure. Placing a Facebook like button on your web page allows people to like your page and share it with their Facebook friends. It’s pretty simple to add one to your site and I’ll show you how to do it in a few simple steps.

Let’s say that you have a website or a div that you need to place in the center of of the page both horizontally and vertically. You may be creating a pop-up window or a centered website, as long as your site has a set height and width it’s easy to center it.

These days everyone is on Twitter. There are tweets flying left, right and center through cyberspace. So how do you get your latest tweet to display on your website? Well there are plenty of ways to do it, but the easiest way that I have come across is this one. No plugins or installation required and it works on any website. All you need to do is copy and paste three lines of code and you’re done.

Freelancing is great, but I think it’s time for me to leave my pyjamas behind and move out of my bedroom and into a nice design studio with a great team of people. Don’t get me wrong, I love my pyjamas, they’re warm, colorful and very comfortable but I think I’m ready to put on some jeans instead. MooTools is a great JavaScript framework that allows you to write powerful JavaScript code with very little time and effort. Today I’ll show you just how simple it is to validate your forms using the MooTools “Form.Validator” class. Basically all you need to do is add a few classes to your form fields, include the MooTools “More” file in your website header and then initialize your Form.Validator.

The World Cup is a huge global sporting event that occurs for one month every four years. During this month the whole world lives and breathes football. People from different countries all over the world wave their flags high creating a sea of colour and energy. Every four years it is up to one country to host the World Cup and of course a different brand is designed for each World Cup reflecting the host nation. This post looks at the World Cup brand designs over the past 44 years and briefly outlines some of the similarities and changes in the World Cup branding over the years.

With only a few more sleeps to go until the 2010 World Cup it seems like everyone is getting World Cup fever! I know that I certainly am. Even the search giant Google is celebrating in their own way. Have you tried searching for “World Cup” in Google recently? You may have noticed that Google is displaying the match time information on the top of the search results. But if you scroll down to the bottom you will also notice that the search results pages no longer say “Goooooooooogle”, but instead “Goooooooooal!”. I think that’s a very cool way to get into the World Cup spirit. Good on you Google!
