While sifting through design drafts, we often come across designers who submit similar logo designs in various contests. This practice is highly discouraged as it leads to, in most cases, an embarrassing situation for the client as well as the designer. Sometimes the same logo design can be picked as a winner in two or more contests, creating an awkward situation. Every company deserves a unique logo and if another business already has a similar logo it will create trademark infringement issues for the client.
