Since this plugin retrieves so much data from Search Engines you need to be careful not to use it too much as you can get temporarily flagged from the Search Engine as you are putting a large load on their server. Once you’re flagged Google actually asks you to enter a Captcha to do searches (which disappears after a while). It’s best to actually only turn SeoQuake on when you really need it rather than leaving it turned on when you are just doing general web browsing.

SeoQuake can be used in two main ways:

1. As a Toolbar: The requested parameters are displayed in a toolbar inside your Firefox browser window.
   
2. Search Engine Results: The requested parameters are actually displayed on your Search Engine results page next to each website’s details as seen in the image below.
   

The plugin itself is quite customisable and it allows you to retrieve only the Search Engine information that you are interested in including: Google Page Rank, Google index, Yahoo index, MSN index, Alexa rank, Digg index, Baidu index, page links and many more. You can even add your own parameters to monitor.
